Absolutely, in the embrace of International Women’s Day, Padma Resort Legian in collaboration with Bali’s Jiu-Jitsu school; Woven, presents a Women’s Self-Defense Workshop featuring Simone Juila, a distinguished purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and an international Jiu-Jitsu athlete. She has earned a lot of achievements such as two gold medals in the National Championship (Kejurnas), one gold medal in the Indonesian Submission Championship, two gold medals in the Jiu-Jitsu championships in Malaysia, and many more.

The Day of Silence
Every year, the Balinese celebrate their New Year in the Balinese Calendar, called Nyepi. This year, Nyepi Day falls on 11 March 2024. During Nyepi, the streets become quiet, the whole island is completely dark, no activity, and everyone must remain in the house. It is a perfect time to pray and meditate, especially for the Hindu Balinese.
During this time, as guests in Padma Resort Legian, there is nothing to worry about. We provide plenty of Silent Day activities for guests to enjoy, and the swimming pool and other facilities as well as the restaurants remain open.
Join the captivating Ogoh-ogoh parade at the resort from 4.30PM – 6PM on Nyepi eve, 10 March 2024 and capture this most memorable moment that happens once a year.
