From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and open arms, making us feel right at home.
We loved everything about this resort, literally… I couldn’t fault one single thing and never wanted to leave, but let’s get into our highlights:
The Kids Club – Let’s dive straight into the magical world of the Wolly Kids Club. Now it’s not just the kids club that makes it the best, but the staff within the club and the activities they run. From arts and crafts to treasure hunts, Kids Foam Party, and garden adventures as the Little Farmer, our kids were thoroughly entertained while making new friends. And the best part? The attentive and caring staff ensured our children were safe and having the time of their lives, giving us parents some much-needed relaxation time. The staff just went above and beyond, getting to know each of our three kids’ names too! We loved that we could drop them off for a few hours in the morning, knowing they’d have fun and we’d get a bit of rest time in – a total win-win! The Kids Foam Party was one of the highlights of the kids’ trip. “Best fun ever”,… my seven-year-old said! She just loved that the staff all dressed up in costume, the music & dancing, and of course the foam! Another highlight was the afternoon at the Kids’ Garden. The kids just loved learning about the garden and herbs and how things were grown and used around the resort. And don’t forget patting and feeding the cute bunnies too!
Spacious Interconnecting Rooms; Deluxe Chalet. When it comes to family-friendly accommodations, Padma Legian Resort hits the mark with its interconnecting rooms. This feature gave us the best of both worlds: privacy and togetherness. Each room was tastefully decorated, offering a peaceful retreat after a day filled with adventures. We had plenty of space for everyone to unwind and recharge for the next day’s activities. We loved being able to pop the kids asleep in their room but still be close by when they needed us.
The pools: prepare to make a splash! The resort boasts an array of pools that are irresistible for kids (and adults, too!), with something for everyone. I just loved that there is a Family Pool with slides for my older two and then the smaller paddling pool (and slide!) for my toddler. We also loved spending time together in the Lagoon Pool. When we were without the kids, the quiet of the adult-only Infinity Pool with a drink from the Sunken Bar in hand was heaven.
Foodies rejoice! Padma Legian Resort knows how to please every palate. From vibrant breakfast buffets to themed dinners, the resort’s restaurants offered an exquisite culinary journey. I’ve never seen a buffet breakfast like the one at Padma Resort Legian. There is literally everything you could ever want… and it all tastes so good. I loved that we chose from such a big selection, from pancakes & croissants to poached eggs, fruit, yoghurt, and muesli. Our children, who can sometimes be picky eaters, were delighted by the kid-friendly options that catered to their tastes. And as parents, we savoured every bite of the mouth-watering dishes inspired by both local and international cuisines. We are big fans of Japanese food, so we had to try out TENKAI Japanese Nikkei Restaurant! Wow!! This restaurant is incredible. The food was beyond… I think one of the most delicious Japanese Nikkei meals we’ve ever had. Every dish was so beautifully presented, and I just loved how creative they were in serving up something that had their own little twist on a Japanese Nikkei dish. A must-visit!
Incredible Staff: The Real Superheroes: A resort is only as good as its staff, and Padma Resort Legian exceeded all expectations of the staff. The genuine warmth, kindness, and attentive staff made us feel like part of their extended family. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, offering assistance and recommendations with a smile. Their dedication to providing outstanding service truly made our holiday a breeze and will mean we will always remember the resort.
Perfectly Located Beachfront Bliss: It is in the best spot! With its prime beachfront position, we loved being to exit the resort, cross the road and be right on the beach. We felt like we had our own little slice of paradise right at our doorstep. It’s also right near many great massage places, cafes & restaurants, and markets too. We loved going out into the hustle of the town and then returning to the quiet of the resort.
Activities for everyone: Not only are there amazing kids activities at Padma Resort Legian, but the same goes for the adults too! There is just so much to do, from playing a game of tennis or learning archery to a quiet drink by the adult-only Infinity Pool or an indulgent afternoon at The Spa. If you love getting out and exploring,oring the guided bike tour in the morning is perfect. If you like to keep active, why not try the daily yoga class or water aerobics? Thlly is something for everyone!
Our stay at Padma Resort Legian was an absolute dream come true for our family. From the moment we arrived until the moment, we reluctantly said our goodbyes (we will be back!!), every aspect of the resort was meticulously designed with families in mind.
