Padma Resort Legian is our pick for a family stay in Bali!

We LOVE Bali, and have been visiting the beautiful island for many years now. And each time we visit, we always stay at Padma Resort Legian, because it’s the perfect blend of luxury for us adults, and fun adventure for the kids!

From the second we set foot in the grand foyer, we are looked after like royalty. The staff are so kind and friendly with the warmest welcome, and always so willing to help. 

There’s a huge selection of newly renovated, beautifully appointed guest rooms and suites to accommodate all travelling parties, from deluxe chalets to family rooms, to entire resort! This time we chose to stay in two interconnecting chalets, which was just perfect for our family of six. The kids shared one room and had their own bathroom with huge soaker tub and walk in shower, while we had our own retreat, just for us adults, right next door. And the rooms are joined by a hallway, so we could be close to our little ones, but not too close!! Adults need to rest and relax on holiday too!! 

The adventure and activities for kids are endless!!! From the three waterslides at Family pool, to the toddler splash pool, to the constant games around the main pool like the water splash contest and swimming race, they were always entertained. Plus there’s an amazing kids club where children can enjoy all sorts of art and crafts, Kids Party, animal feeding, cooking experiences, a game centre and the list goes on!! And while the little ones are in Wolly Kids Club, the parents can sneak off for a relaxing cocktail (or two!) by the pool. Perfection!! 

The food at Padma is second to none. The buffet breakfast is so extensive it will make your eyes swirl and your tummy rumble!  Everything you could ever possibly want to eat for brekky is beautifully displayed, and tastes so delicious, from western favourites like pancakes and bacon and eggs, to Indonesian delights like nasi goreng and mie goreng, to European treats like croissants and danishes, and everything in between. They even have a fresh juice bar and cappuccino station. The buffet breakfast was definitely a highlight, and kept us full till dinner time! 

And the other restaurants on site offer best meals throughout the day and night, plus the poolside menu is amazing!!! Our pick was definitely the chicken satays. I’m drooling just thinking about them!!! 

Every single inch of the resort is perfectly manicured with lush palms and greenery making it the most beautiful tropical experience. The pool areas are expansive with a huge main pool and swim up bar, a lagoon pool with jacuzzi, a kids zone with waterslides at the Family Pool and toddler play area, plus an adults only infinity pool that overlooks the ocean and sunset. 

Padma Resort Legian truly is pure paradise on every level. A must-stay when visiting the beautiful island of Bali.
