Ogoh Ogoh Parade

The day before the island shuts down for its Silent Day, the Ogoh Ogoh comes out. Each banjar or villages in Bali will have this parade, including the Legian village if you’re staying at Padma Resort Legian.

Nyepi Day

Experience the most magical day of the year in Bali, that is Nyepi or Silence Day. It is where the whole island will shut down for a whole day, including the airport. The day requires Balinese people to fast and meditate, with no electricity, to welcome the Caka New Year according to the Hindu Balinese calendar.

Omed-Omedan

This ritual is unique to Sesetan, Denpasar. Celebrated a day after Nyepi, this ritual will involve local youths trying to kiss each other while being soaked in buckets of water.

    I have read that the legion Beach festival is in September or November. Can someone verify the dates for me

      Dear Susan, Yes. From the information that we got from official government website, the Legian Beach Festival will be on 25 to 29 September 2019. However, we are still collecting the information from locals in Legian village to. Stay tuned with us for more information. Best regards, Marketing team
